3D Artist - We're on the hunt for a student 3D Artist who embodies our ethos of innovation, inclusivity, and risk-taking. Beyond technical proficiency, we value individuals eager to challenge the status quo, experiment fearlessly, and infuse creativity into every endeavor.
This is a paid position. We will start you on one project with a fixed stipend, which will be dependent on experience level. We have multiple projects that have 3D artist needs.

Matters at Play (M@P), directed by Lien Tran (DePaul University’s School of Design), is a transdisciplinary design lab partnering in the creation of interactive advocacy solutions for positive social transformations – especially for social justice, health, and environmental issues. M@P both incubates and launches projects for real-world impact as part of a faculty-student collaborative as well as in the classroom context.

DePaul center for Data Science
The DePaul Center for Data Science (DePaulDS) is an Interdisciplinary Research Center that brings together the innovative research work and expertise of DePaul faculty in data science, machine learning, and AI. Research areas include biomedical and health informatics, imaging analytics, interactive machine learning, marketing analytics, recommender systems, database forensics, and high performance and scientific computing.

Virtual and Augmented Reality Communication (varc) Lab
Led by professor Paul Booth, the Virtual and Augmented Reality Communication Lab (VARC) houses state-of-the-art equipment for virtual and augmented reality. At the VARC Lab, we want to help people learn how to effectively and ethically communicate in VR and AR. The lab is a space for students and faculty to experience VR/AR technology firsthand and explore how these tools impact society, culture, media and interpersonal relationships.

Technology for Social Good Research and Design Lab
The Technology for Social Good Research and Design Lab brings together faculty, students, and other collaborators to design, build, and study tools with the goal of fostering equitable education and empowerment in urban communities. Taking a human-centered approach, research projects draw from fields such as learning sciences, computer science, human-computer interaction, experience design, data science, and psychology to address social issues, particularly in the areas of empowerment, learning, and human development.
